This WEEK IN OUR WRITER'S CLASS GROUP WE WILL ON;

Monday: Identify the parts of speech including the noun, pronoun (type and case), verb (type and tense), adverb, adjective, preposition, conjunction (type), gerund, participle, infinitive, and article.    

Tuesday: Identify the sentence parts: complete subject, simple subject, complete predicate, verb (transitive and intransitive), direct object, indirect object, prepositional phrase (adjective or adverb), and object of preposition. 

Wednesday: Identify the clauses (independent, dependent), sentence type (simple, compound, complex, compound-complex), and sentence purpose (declarative, interrogative, imperative, exclamatory).

Thursday: Write out the sentence and explain capitalization and punctuation including end punctuation, commas, semicolons, apostrophes, underlining, and quotation marks.
